Im packing my stuff as i type . Im excited but scared . How are people coping after the op? What is the marks like that the surgery leaves behind ?

I wouldnt know yet but from what i've heard its pretty bad with bruising but when all is healed i think there pretty minor? x

It certainly isn't the easy way out. It's a helping hand. Would they refuse medication or any procedure that helped keep them healthy NO they wouldn't.

Yeah i know thats what i have said . I have stood my ground and explained everything to them about it to make them realise its no so easy haha . I got a call this morning off SRH i have to go in on wednesday for a pre op assesment. They said its to make sure im ok to have the anesthetic .. eek it seems so real now!

i got mine yesterday! They must have had a backlog or something. I was the same totally out of the blue so forgot to ask what i wanted to! Grrr lol x

5 small lines... u will be very surprised! I'm 3 weeks today so can't say long term but don't think they will be that noticeable hope that helps you a bit. Only 2 of them were bruised and that went pretty quick and i bruise easily/badly. X

Su2ie i was impatient and rang them, they just told me to wait for a letter with further details but a date has been booked in for 17th december for surgery x

Don't be scared, you're in good hands. I felt exactly the same but there really was nothing to worry about and at least you're first so you don't have to hang around too long

Roshkay hope your ok I will look forward to hearing from you I wish you well. Sure you be well looked after. If it's any comfort I was told by hospital they ONLY do low risk patients on a weekend. I'm not sure if that helps...Try get some sleep if possible and concentrate on your breathing if you get too panicky x

Im doing quite well after my op on saturday . I came home yesterday.. weighed myself today .and from fri 21/11/14 to today 25/11/14 i have lost 2stone 3 pound!! Didnt think that was possible.but hey .. bring it on xx

Wow well done then, i wont say dont be silly not eating obviously you should but i know i'll be the same! do you mind me askin how much you had to lose? Be there in no time x
