Exercise and Eating

Firstly the exercise question:

When i go the gym (look at me name dropping :)) when i come out the last thing on my mind is food. It was like this when i went before my surgery. Is this because my metabolism is working and burning nasty fatty bits away?

Secondly about food:

Initially post op i chewed carefully because i worried about wind etc. For quite some time now i eat the way i did pre op. That is i eat fast and probably don't chew enough but it doesn't bother me that much. Now my question: Will i eat less if i chew chew chew? Or is that just to stop us getting bits stuck?

After the gym you would be best having a protein shake or a recovery drink.

The very easiest of drinks to take would be a 'For goodness shake' available at Morrisons and Asda etc. I prefer the powders as these, in water, aren't as heavy and are really lush.

I am the same after going to the gym. I actually have to remind myself to eat. It takes hours for my appetite to come back.

As far as wind pain, once again I am the same. I have been taking less time with my meals and basically inhaling them without chewing properly. Thus the horrid pain coming back. Once I settle down and eat properly and chew my food well, no pain happens.
