Gastric Bypass Daily Menus

Friday

Breakfast - small bowl of All Bran, Just Right and 1/2 banana
Lunch - 1/2 bagel with Extra Light Philadelphia and smoked salmon, 1 apple and handful raw nuts. Piece of pecan cookie.
Dinner - Assorted curries, 1 tbsp each + 1 tbsp rice. 1/2 onion bhaji. 1 tbsp tiramisu.

Snacks - 2 rich tea, 1/2 banana

Total 1.25 ltrs fluid

Saturday

Breakfast - 1 boiled egg
Lunch - 1/2 bagel, smoked salmon, philly. 1/2 apple, 5 almonds.
Dinner - BBQ - 1 chicken thigh, 1 l/f sausage, salad, 2 new pots.

Snacks - Hungry in evening so 2 ryvita with s/f peanut butter, 1 apple, cheese.
Fluid - 1.250 ltrs

Breakfast...cheese and onion omelete
Lunch.... 5 cream crackers with butter
dinner.... 2 tbsp vegetable rice 2 tbsp chicken tika masala (could not eat it all)
snacks... small piece crustless quiche, 2 small bags sweet chilli crisps, small handfull grapes 1/2 a peeled apple ( all this over whole day)
Drinks.... 2 coffees pint s/f squash, water and a cupa soup (had half)

Told you I was hungry a lot I could have eaten more but stopped myself. Got no more crisps in the house and not buying anymore now as must stop eating them they are BAD!!!!!!!
 
my weight loss isn;t fantastic at the moment - gone from losing 10lbs per month down to just 4lbs last month.

So
Friday

75g hummus (250cals?) with 3 rice cakes (180?) (protein and carb)

3oz wedges (carb)(150 cals?) plus half pack of quorn slices (protein) (80cals?)
1dsp light mayo and tomato ketchup (50cals)

small glass milk (100cals)
1x hot cross cun with sunflower spread(250 cals)

3 x mugs of tea with half spoon sugar in each (90 cals)
3 x Atkins Cinnamon Bar (3 x protein) (450 cals) (overkill here :( )

So approx 1250 cals - not good :(

Saturday

11 am 1 hot cross bun with sunflower spread (carb)
plus half a mug of tea with milk and a little bit of sugar

1.30pm 1 x Atkins Advantage Bar (protein)
plus small glass milk (protein)

3 finncrisp crispbread rounds with Cauldron Pate (sundried Tomato and basil I think)

2 cheese muffins toasted with low fat spread

2x cups of tea with half spoon sugar each

Saturday 17th April

0930 Breakfast: 1 Egg Omelette [80], 2 Cubes Cheddar [100]
1600 Lunch/Dinner: 1/2 Fish Butty from Chip Shop [300]
1800 Snack: Lick of OH's Ice Cream [50]

Spent the day out on a HUGE walk with friends, and we went to the chippy after! No excuse... then again I didn't enjoy it one bit so I guess it serves me right!

Breakfast - 1 scrambled egg with smoked salmon.
Lunch - BBQ again - 1/2 piece sirloin steak, 1 corn on cob, salads, 2 new potatoes. 2 tbsp tiramisu.
Tea - 2 crispbread with s/f p butter, 1/4 apple, few nuts, few pretzels.
Snacks - 1 M&S easter bunny biscuit, small piece chocolate.

Fluids - 1.45 ltrs

1900 3/4 Cod in Cheese Sauce [200], 1 medium Sweet Potato [150]
1930 1 tbsp Homemade Brownie Fudge Cheesecake [100]

The human body needs some carbs, these can be got from a healthy diet including fruit.
I have been told to keep carbs to a minimum but not to cut them out all together
 
Monday 19th April 2010

Breakfast.... Half sausage and tomatoe sandwich
Lunch..... Nothing was asleep due to being ill
Dinner.... 3/4 small wrap with salad, low fat mayo and chow mein chicken strips.
Snacks....3 small scoops chocolate ice cream
Drinks...2 coffees, 1 skinny latte 1 litre of flat lemon and lime water.
 
Monday 19th April

1400 Lunch: 1tbsp Chicken Buriyani, 1 tbsp Chicken Madras, 1 tbsp Agloo, 1 Potato Pakora, 1 piece Chicken Tika [300]
1600 Snack: 1 tbsp Homemade Brownie Fudge Cheesecake [100]
1900 Dinner: 2 Chickpea Falalas [100], 1/2 Garlic Pitta Bread [80], with Salad and mint yogurt
2030 Snack: Kellogs Fibre Bar [110]

Monday

Breakfast - 1 sml banana, 1 bourbon biscuit! :eek:
Lunch - 1/2 bagel, light philly, smoked salmon, 1/4 apple, few pretzels
Dinner - leftover cold steak/chicken from BBQ, tiny bit salad. Meat was a mistake, belly ache afterwards.
Evening - 2 crispbreads with p butter, 1/2 apple, 1 slice cheese.

Snacks - 1 banana, piece of chocolate again, MUST get rid of these eggs! :eek:
Fluid - 1.15ltrs, not enough.

a mango
lamb in a pitta with yoghurt dressing
3 rich tea biscuits

Breakfast...cheese and onion omelete.
Lunch.... tortilla pizza (small)
Dinner.... everyone had chippy so picked at a bit of kebab meat. Not really hungry.
Snacks....handfull cheese nibbles
Drinks...3 coffee. 1 Litre apple flavour water. 1 skinny cow hot chocolate.

Lunch - 1/3 tin Heinz tomato soup, 2 crispbreads, small piece brie, apple, small slice homemade cake.
Dinner - shepards pie, peas, sweetcorn. Few raw nuts.
Snacks - 1 pappadum, a apple, small piece easter egg.
Fluid - 2ltrs

Wednesday -
Breakfast - 1 slice granary toast with marmite.
Lunch - tuna salad, 1/4 apple, few nuts, 1 crispbread with ex light philadelphia.
Dinner - shepards pie, peas and swetcorn. 1 Mini milk ice lolly.
Snacks - 1 small slice homemade cake, 1 apple.
Avoided the chocolate yey!! :D
Fluids - 1.25ltrs so far.

2000 Snack: Special K bar [80], 3 Cheese Slices [105]

Breakfast... 1 rasher grilled bacon and 3 tbsp baked beans
Lunch..... nothing was out having a haircut
Dinner.... 2 tbsp cod, 1 new potato, 2 tbsp peas 2 tbsp carrotts and parsley sauce.
Snacks..... 1 banana, handfull mixed nuts
Drinks.... 3 coffees, 1 litre apple flavour water, 1 options cherry hot chocolate.
