I have my surgery on monday. Today I have done something that I have been meaning to do for months.

I have signed up to the organ register. When inhad my son my life was saved because I received blood and platelets that other people had donated for which I am truly grateful.

I gathered that if anything is to go wrong on monday my wish would be to be able to help others and probably save someone elses life in the process.

As anyone else registered for organ donation pre op? X

Good on u!! I've always been an Organ donner but when my daughter was born I signed her up to. More people should really do it. X

I also want to do the bone marrow donor. Still in talks with my husband as I believe this can save a lot of lives.

I not sure if I would be allowed to donate bone marrow or not. I am no longer allowed to donate blood because I received blood whenni had my son. I was absolutely gutted when I was told I was not longer allowed to donate. I've told my parents and my boyfriend that I have registered to be a organ donor today but they didn't sound too keen. I haven't done it because I think I'm going to die which I think they think is the reason behind my decision.. I'm actually in a pretty positive mood considering how nervous and scared I have been. I know on the day I will being a crying wreck but I am going to be strong. X
