have you any info on selanese solution?

hi everyone,
has anyone been refused selanese solution on prescription by their doctor?? on my discharge info it says i need to take this solution for 6 months to prevent hair loss, but my doctor has refused to put it on my prescription..as any one else had this problem...thank you.

hows it going. I thought it was one of thoes things that they prescribed if you staryed to experiance hair loss as not everyone does. I certainly havent so far(touch wood) but i might be wrong

thanks for that carole, i think it is to prevent it happening but as you say not everyone does and you have lovely hair so it defo hasnt happended to you...it is just that mr ammori had put it on my info sheet, but my docs receptionist said doc will not put on my prescription..quite confused why. im going to go in and see him next wednesday and i will have a chat with mr ammori's secretary in-between, but i feel better knowing you havent had it and are okay..im doing really well and 'touch wood' have had no problems..i started on puree's on friday and i must say im getting plenty down...i rang the dietician to check i wasnt having too much....been swimming this morning as well carole...hope we can meet up soonxxx

Hi Lesley,

I went and asked my GP for this when my hair thinning started to concern me. He was reluctant to prescribe it because of the cost but he did after not much cajoling. Unfortunately I just couldn't get on with it, and changed over to selenium tablets instead.

thanks for that shell..so do u think it would be okay to just take it as it comes and hope i dont need it..r wud u insist he gave them me now...after all pct did agree to funding so they should give me all the aftercare..what do u think??

I think that unless the hairloss becomes a problem why add to your mass of pills?
