Hi all,
Ive stumbled across this forum whilst looking into the start of my journey to WLS.
I put in a request for funding for WLS via my GP and as my BMI is over 50 i have found out that my application was accepted and am eligible for it.

They now have to do an appointment at GP detailing heighy, weight and family history and i was wondering what else they would ask. Has anyone had the surgery at northern general who is over 50 bmi been asked to diet or would they go straight to planning the op as it seems a little strange they asked for funding before the referral.
I thought the appointment i am having at the end of this month would be before any applications for funding. They say the info from the nurses appointment will be attached to the funding decision letter and sent to Dr Ackroyd.
