this question is for HEARTLANDS BYPASS patients, i live 60 miles away and my husband wants to (a) stay with me on the day of op (b) booke into a hotel and spend as much time visiting as he can, as there's no point in him travelling 60 miles then 60 back etc. so.....can partners stay with you to be there after op? i know some hospitals have the facility to give you a private room, at a charge of course, do they have that option at Heartlands. my op is on thursday just 4 days away, also some people get blood thinnning and anti-biotics to take before, but i havent - what happens at heartlands. thanks
