How long did u take lansoprazole after surgery for??

One a daay for the rest of my life! Its amazing how all surgeons give different advice. I thought we had to take them to stop us getting ulcers/acid in the stomach etc

My surgeon wanted me off them as I'd never had acid so he said there is no point being on them.. But I'm going to take one a day till I'm 4 months p/o x

One a day for life for me. This has just been reconfirmed at my last appointment.

I was on them for 6 months and then was very unwell, reflux, stomach cramps etc so was put back on them and told it was for life. I guess we all vary!

one a day for 3 months as per L&D, although my doctor is prepared to prescribe them for life if needed.

hiya, i had my op done on 26th aug at sunderland royal mr balapuri had sent letter to myself and doc stating i need prescriptions for pills , lansoprazole is only on prescription for 4 weeks so must be only that time. 2 weeks post op to date so 2 weeks left on them.x

Mine are one a day for life but sometimes when iv forgot them my tummy lets me know lol
