well i weighed my self yesterday and i have lost 5 kg in a 9 days ..
so doing well on the liver shrink diet .. few days to go now ;o)

ahhh 3 days now ....... 3 more sleeps with this old stomach of mine..

wish it was all over with i have never had anop since i was around 14.

hate thinking about the going under bit and waking up bit i hate not being in control..

and weird nightmares im having ..

one was..i was took down and laying on table they offered me anasetic and gas. i was told there was only so much anasetic they had so i might not be fully out of it.. or i can have gas but if i have too much i will die !!! ...

2nd one i have had... they had me on the table and i was waiting ages to be knocked out they where messing about with drips and tubes in my mouth and nose.. and then come to knocking me out they had a needle with anasetic in it and they where putting it here there and everywhere till it ran out.. but i was awake still but had tubes in mouth and suff i was not able to talk. and then i heard right lets get on with his hip transplant !!!!!! and i couldent say anything......

they have been awfull .. suppose watching home and health channel isnt helping !!

soon to be over thankfully lol x
 
Sorry you had bad experience. Great news that your suceeding brill with such a huge loss too.

Brett you are going to be fine. Maybe as you say too much tv playing on your mind lol. Don't watch anymore untill after your op and maybe this will help. Our minds play very mysterious games with us when we are worrying about something. Hope you get a nice nightmare free sleep tonight .

Good luck Brett, its just the old mind playing tricks on you...like when we watch scary films and then want someone to go the loo with as we think theres going to be a ghosty upstairs lol!!

Just read your last page on your concerns about which catogary you will fit into post-weight loss, I dont think you will have any probs with men you are sooo handsome Brett and I bet your partner will love you no matter what!! Does he fall under the bear catogary? How does he feel about you having surgery?
 
my other half is very supportive of what im having done he has been there for me all the way through this .. however he is missing wales where he is from and his family .. he is 26 its our 1 year anniversary today .. he is in wales at the min . will be with me on Friday for my op...

and we will look at our arrangements when i get back on my feet at what we are doing and so on .. cause i think he would rather be full time back in wales .. this is his first relationship full on one .. and he does not like his job in London he finds it very lonely in London ..

so we will see what happens ...

You need to seriously leave the cheese alone late at night, its renound for giving you nightmares :D

Dont worry the anxiety your feeling is something we all go through, it wasn't actually as bad as i thought it was going to be, once they pump you full of the good stuff you'll be out like a light and it will all be over ! then day one of the rest of your life !
 
Oh Brett sounds like you are going to have a whole new beginning how fab would that be But first Friday, and it will be fine so try and chill, I know I know easily said, but you will be just great.

Some good advice from SS there Brett, you could do no better than to have him as your bypass buddy - him being a bloke and all, cos you blokes lose it differently to us girlies!

Hi Brett, best of luck for Friday - realistically that's just one proper sleep left as Thurs night it will be harder to sleep I guess. Well done on yr pre-op weight loss as well.
 
yea i would move to wales .. he is from cardiff .. and its a great place ...

im up north at the min so will be traveling back to london late thurs/friday so this is my last sleep really lol ..

im so looking forward to been told its all done .. and liver shrink was fine etc .... all kinds going through my head lol..

as much as i have always wanted this its getting scary lol ...
 
Brett it will soon be over and done with and you'll be wondering what all the panic was about. You will have your Vince there running around after you, and pampering you. Oh yes and your Mum's going to be there too is'nt she. Bless her, us Mums never give up worrying no matter how old the kids are lol.Keep your chin up it will soon be done Brett. Just think how long you've waited for this!!! HUGE HUGS
