Be steady Witch. In the few weeks I've 'known' you on here, you've seen the shrink and are on to the next stage of attending a seminar in a few weeks. Hopefully the date for that will come through next week ... x

I got a bit ahead of the game by committing myself to shrinking from the moment I made the decision to go for surgery, as I knew it would be expected of me pre-op. I found it really helpful to get my head in the zone as I felt I was on the journey. I lost the best part of a stone before seeing Mr F at the end of April, and have continued to lose all the way along xx

I saw dietician today and she reckons I will have my op within 3 weeks of 28th as on the 28th they do all blood tests etc....and they cant leave it any longer than that as blood tests etc. would be needing to be redone if they did..so arghhhhh yeahhhh wooooot OMG

BUT waiting for the 28this like purgatory! so I hear ya and feel ya and know what you mean

God I'm beyond fed up of waiting!!!I don't care what the letter says as long as I get one! Lol my consultant been on holiday for 3weeks!! The cheek of it!! Lol hopefully here somit soon as he back Monday lol

I had all my pre meds done, told would be weeks, not months, to go see another surgeon who tells me another 6 months and to come back again for another lot of pre meds !

I got letting saying funding agreed 14th Feb, 2012 , saw surgeon June that year, told 3-6 months, and still wrong side of the losers bench !

All this mainly due to the fact the list from St Thomas' taken on by Kings

Lol, mine took 5 weeks from consultation to surgery, and I found that frustrating enough. I've never been particularly patient... x

I've seen the consultant, had the pre-op, seen the cardiologist and the anaesthetist...........still no date. I feel like it's a kind of punishment. You've had the go ahead and the funding............but we'll keep you dangling for as long as we can

I took from seeing surgeon to mdt meeting 2months and now 2 months into a possible 6month+ wait now for surgery st Richards is not the quickest I don't think, I rang Christine the secretary last week and asked if it would be befor xmas and she said she was hopefull so il keep holding out for my call, good luck in your wait too
