Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been on here for a while. I got so down through seeing people having their operations before me (and referred after!) that I tok myself away from this board because it was "doing my head in"!!!
I have now succumbed myself to the fact my operation will be in 2010, maybe January, maybe February, but definitely before end of March according to the hospital.
My only concern is that because of the messing around I feel I've received from St Richards and the waiting time etc, I have gone off the rails with my food intake. Part of me thinks if I put weight on before my pre-opp they might not allow the surgery, whilst the other part of me thinks, "Sod it, enjoy it whilst you can!". Does anyone know whether the hospital can deny the operation even at this late stage? I would argue the point though that its the waiting time that's making me want to eat more and is playing havoc with my emotions.
Has anyone else felt this way?
