Interesting post for a none loser like me...

Hi Julie.....you are definitely not alone in this!

I had my last hospital check up back in october and since then have lost only a coupld of Kilos (oops)
I seem to have hit my plateau at the 17st mark, not gaiing but not losing either which is frustrating.
Though i never thought i would ever get to this weight until i had my surgery....guess i just need to get my butt back down the gym, as i haven't been in a couple of months.

I have my final check up on the 8th Feb at chichester....not looking forward to it as i have no idea what to say to the dietician to explain why i not losing anythig at the moment....unless i blame bad eting habits over xmas lol

but then i have lost almost 9st of the 13 or so i wanted to lose, just have to find my big push to get it all started again :)

Good luck to you xx

I have to say to those who are not finding the scales moving then really look at what is going through your lips...

No disrespect but it's so easy for the old habits to slip back in, a biscuit here, a sweet off the kids there, a yoghurt out the fridge just because you fancy one and they are there.

Exercise is my goal now, i did 2 x 40 minutes last week and Sunday i did a 5 mile country walk (up hills and down dales and i had my leg over some blooming big stiles) and today i've done 3 miles travelling to work/home again and a stroll around Ikea too....

For those who think my complaining is all bad, i will say that food rarely has an adverse effect on me. I have confidently eaten out since a few weeks post op (although that was soup for a while) and don't worry about eating in public...

saying that my stomach is overfull of salad right now, i never thought i'd say that lol x

Well done Julie, just thinking this way, I feel some strength and openness... and for sure... I'm hoping to be more active and to be careful not to slip back to my old ways... I could never be a 'Saint'... but restraint and exercise... seems the key for my wellbeing post op and I've learned a great deal from you.

Wishing you smooth sailing and good luck as always with your journey... always at your side.

Love and hugs xxx
