My surgery day has been cancelled again.

It is now pencilled in for the 27th Jan, and that is likely to be changed as well.

So until further notice i shall not think about wls at all and start weight watchers or sw when they reopen.

OMG, all these cancellations! Its got to be because the hospitals are bowing under the pressure of all the swine flu and accidents caused by the snow! I bet you are gutted! You get yourself all mentally prepared for it and then they cancel! Make sure you enjoy christmas hun and try and not let it get you down (HUG) XX

Sugga - So sorry that your op has been cancelled again. As Jacqui says they are bowing to pressure from all sides.

Hope it wont be too long before they rearrange your new date for you.

Im fine with it, there are lots of people in a worst situation than me, and in the long run they have done me a favour as now i have more time to start the new year off as planned.

Im at the top of the list or so they say so it will happen when it happens.............anyway its ww or sw for me until then so at least iv got that.

Its Christmas Eve and im getting all geared up for it now lol. Merry Christmas everyone. xxx

Sorry to hear about your cancellation but getting on a sensible eating plan will be a great idea in case they send for you quickly. At least you will have started your pre-op in a way and that will get you in the right frame of mind

Well ok, they have cancelled again....
Personally I would wait until the 2nd of january ,then i would make a point of ringing them and tell them you will go on a cancelation list..
I understand the snow has put a lot of problems in there way..but I would keep on at them hun...don't let the so and sos get you down hun x x x

Iv just been looking up the slimming clubs and i will join one next week for defo.

Oh Andrea...your wost fears confirmed by them cancelling again, I am totally gutted for you hon. I know it probably feels like it will never happen, but it will. Sounds like you have a good plan though to help you stay on track for January, a great positive attitude really does help to get you through xxx

Awww Andrea... I'm really hoping that they won't move it from 27th Angel... it's the pre op diet that goes on and on otherwise... when will you be starting it again love?

I'm happy to do the slimming club with you and we're planning to keep in touch anyway... so as well as on here with our daily meal planning.. we will get through love.. it is going to happen...

If you do go (I'm praying) on 27th... we'll be in hospital at more or less the same time...

I am feeling your pain Hun. They cancelled my surgery as well due to the snow that hit us. Just be positive, I am a bit depressed but what will that do. Regardless you are doing this for your well being so it's all worth it in the end.
