Lansoprazole and Other Medications

Hi Everyone

I was just wondering how soon after your sleeve operation you started taking 'normal' (i.e. insoluble) Lansoprazole and other tablets as opposed to the soluble or liquid versions.

Hi, I was supplied with two weeks from the hospital, then onto normal ones.

Still on dispersible everything that can be dispersed, much easier for me. When I had my band and it was sometimes tighter in the morning capsules could be tricky, my bypass doesn't like like capsules or tablets bigger than a pin head

I got 3 months soluble lansoprazole and paracetamol but tablet codeine and blood pressure meds. So a mix really.

I've started taking iron tablets now. Do they make anyone else feel sick all the time?

I had dissolvable ones for one month then onto normal x

Just bypassed 3 days ago .. I was told six months for the soluble types to allow good healing of my pouch I might even be able to stop the Lansoprazole altogether after that
