im 8 weeks post opp and i was missing bread and last week i found warburtons sandwich thins they are 100 calories each and are pre cut into 2 slices i have them for toast with philii light on but last night i put 1 slice of low low cheese in and a slice of ham and put into a george forman and it was heaven they are so nice and i dont get bloted from them a must try for everyone x

Yes I bought some yesterday thought i would toast the 2 halves with cheese onion and tomato on in the end stuck them together like a toasty could only manage half had to give the other half to hubby and he'd had his already. Fancied it but was just too much that happens alot does it happen to any of you?

i can eat 3/4 of one if i have it toasted with 1 thin slice of ham ive not had them without toasting them yet but think i could probley only eat half if i did but today i did eat a whole 1 for lunch but it did take me about 1 hour lol x

It seems to be harder to eat most food the first time you have it, I only managed half at first then after a couple of times having it I can manage a full one. as if our pouches get used to the texture x

I had then they nice. I can't have both slices I have one slice toasted then cut if half to make a bacon butty just so I look like I am joining in when they all have a fry up at my mum's lol.

I have heard people using them as a base for a bariatric style pizza

i toast mine then add turkey rashers, lettuce and tomato and some low fat salad cream. Also i make mini pizzas... toast one add tomato puree, cheese, mushrooms, ham... anything you wish and stick under grill for a minute or so.. or stick in micro..nom nom x

I struggle with normal bread it gets stuck and causes a lot of pain, but I've had warburtons milk roll and it's a god send!
My youngest will only eat this bread, and now it's perfect for me too

In Asda they are selling the Kingsmill 50/50 version of these for 59p and 93 cals each slice. Just spotted them so thought I would let you know :D

TO be honest - Ive never heard of these but I will now be trying them x

They are a nice alternative even though the dietician recommend me to have wholemeal they are nice change. xx
