Making options

Anyone got any tips when it comes to making the option drinks, I always seem to finish up with a load of floating lumps
 
Invest in an Aerolatte. My desert island gadget. Available at Lakeland, and probably on Amazon / eBay.

No lumps, just creamy smooth hot chocolate.
 
my way is to add the powder to the cup with an inch or so of water and mix to smooth, yop up slowly, whilst stirring until full. some flavours do still end up with little lumps floating on top though but no sludge left in cup. x
 
i put a bit of milk in my cup and then stir in the options until smooth then add the hot milk or hot water and stir at the same time xx... i love mint choc nom nom
 
use a fork instead of a spoon to "whisk" ;)
 
i make mine in a jug and used my hand blender makes it lovley and creamy and lump free im loving the hazelnut and choc at the min tastes like ferror chocs yum yum x
