Milk Diet

Peterborough Guy

Luton and Dunstable
Hey guys,

Into my third week of the milk diet now, and feel myself slipping off it.

I need a kick up the backside guys.

I get weighed in on the 1st April, and got on my scales and i have hit my threshold if my scales weigh the same as the hospitals, however i seem to have hit a plato now.

I dont think its helping that my mum was rushed into hospital this week and im there everyday as well at the moment.

I know I have loss weight, because I feel a different shape and also my trousers almost fall down (not a pretty sight) if I dont hold them up lol

Any tips for more weight loss?

What about slimfast? Thats what I have to do before op with just orange juice for bfast, the slimfast & 500 cal meal for tea. Hope this helps x

hi hun....
As you know I was where you was last week...I had a major stall on week 3 ..so much so I considered cancelling my appointment ..as I thought those last few pounds wouldn't shift...
I also found myself just having an overwhelming erge to chew something...
I learnt a few things about my head hunger in that month...and about how little we can get by on!!
I am sorry your mums been ill...

now I don't know if you read my thread..but I made target and more..
I will say I had help on the last couple of days from senna as I was very bunged up(sorry tmi)

I was told,I had 9 weeks to lose 5%..but luckily I done it in 4...if I can do it ..so can you hun...I have faith in you !!!
To quote the L&D dietitian.."trust the diet..it will work".
If you need help come on here and read diaries and look at photos...it will give you some motivation to carry on.

now go order some braces for those trousers ....lol...

hi ..I just tried to email you and I realised that you only have 21 posts..
get your posts up to 50 by playing the word games and you will have more perks to the site like email.
HTH...

Stick it out mate, its worth it. I know we are all tempted to sabotage when stress comes along, but if you can resist now, you'll be so proud of yourself.

I'm sorry to hear your mum's been ill. BUt hang on in there. It's so worth it.

how are you doing today????
i hope that you doing ok...
keep marking off the days not long to go now hun

when i did my preop diet i thought id lost hardly anything, but it was a different story at the hospital ones,id lost well over a stone in weight.
and if your pants are falling thats a good sign x

Good for you, dont give up it will be so worth it in the end, hope your Mum is recovering it must be such a worry for you XX

Aww the poor lady, It must be really hard for both of you. I hope they find out what it is so they can treat her properly. XX

You will do it Gary...
The stall will end....and you will start losing again...
Without being to personal ..a decent bowel movement, for me worked wonders...
(i was constipated but still had very runny movements but every three days I had what I would call a decent motion!) sorry TMI ..but I do think it will help with the scales...that and uping my water intake..

sorry your having more stress.(I am assuming its to do with your mum in hospital?)
what I will say is take your milk with you and your oxo cube made up in a flask to take with you so you don't get tempted....
follow the diet to the letter and you will get excellent results..!
keep up the good work hun xx

every hospital has a different system in place gary...
Luton is the only one that does 30 days milk (to my knowledge)
most people only do 2 weeks for the pre op..so to be asked to do it without an op at the end is hard going...

2 weeks seems a reasonable amount of time ..at 3 weeks I was flagging and I was stressing about the scales not moving too....but they did...and they will for you...up the water so much so you feel you will burst...
for me water is the key to weight loss...

I hope your mum gets better soon hun xx
