mushy food - fish cakes!

Hi all...sorry about the lack of mesuments, but...

I made fish cakes that tasted amazing and so so so easy by....

A pack of fish pie mix from tescos chiller cabinets, poached the fish in milk for 8mins, added salt and pepper...drained the milk and put it in a dish.

took 8 croquets of aunt bessies frozen mash and heated it up on the stove with a tiny bit of the above milk...added the mash to the fish and kind of mushed it all together....

split the mix into individual cakes, rolled them in beaten egg and flour and fried them in a little oil...I managed one but they were massive! seriously nice and still very mushy! xx

ps...dunno what to do with the left over milk...any ideas for the fishy milk? lol
 
Thicken it by adding small amount of cornflour and chopped parsley, season and strain or liquidize, use to pour over fishcakes. x
