This is only my second post so forgive me if I get it wrong, or have put this in the wrong place. I am sitting here waiting to be picked up to go to the bournemouth royal hospital to see my surgeon mr byrom and be assessed for a gastric bypass. I got funding approved last month, and so now my journey begins. Very nervous and not quite sure what to expect from the appointment, but feeling quite positive especially after reading about so many other peoples experiences on here. This forum has already given me so much information and inspiration, and as I live alone with no real support network I thank goodness that I have found a site like this that has made me realise that I am not alone on this journey of mine.
