Other Expenses!!!

I know about the funding for wls but can you all give me an idea on what kind of 'other expenses' do u have related to the surgery like medicines and food.

It will vary, i get most of my vits on prescription for which i've purchased an NHS exemption card at £104 a year, this does considerably brings the cost of vitimins down from "of the shelf" prices, though i still have to buy multivitimins and Vit C off the shelf as they are not covered strangely !
If you go for protein supplimentation this will also add to your costs, the better quality the protein the more it costs, but its maybe worth buying the better stuff in bulk from specialist suppliers than the crap you get ready mixed in other places.
Clothes too are something your going to need to consider, for a while you'll get away with the baggy look, but as the weight falls you'll find yourself spending out on new clothes all the time, and as you get smaller and you start to buy clothes that contour your body and fit closer, you'll find you go through them quicker, ways round this buy shopping in cheaper stores, but there's no getting away from the fact you will need to buy, and dont forget underwaer too !

I get my A-Z multivit & mineral tablets on prescription and my GP gives me 3 months supply on one prescription = £7.20 every 3 months.

Whilst in the losing lots stage, Hopelesscase gave me a great tip; spend no more than £5 on an item because it will get too big too quickly.

Unless u or someone you know is a dab hand at a sewing machine and can take ur clothes in your self , as much as u can within reason xx
