pj's or nighty ?

when i had my lap band i wore some maternity jersey trousers with a roll top, the roll down and are sooooo soft and look good too, very lose, i plan on getting another pair for when i gave my sleeve, mothercare sell them in the sale all the time

I have to admit I'm a nightie person. I found it very comfy and stopped me getting too warm. I found that the TED tights made my legs and feet extremely warm, I couldn't have coped if they were covered with pjs as well.

Wear what you feel most comfortable in and take an extra pair to the amount you think you need. Mine got changed twice in one day due to some oozing of the wound.

Thats what the waistband is like from my pj's from Peacocks. They were really cheap too. Luckily I didn't have a catheter!!

i rolled up my pj bottoms when i was in hospital, and in fact when i got home too, until i could take my sexy stocking things off, i dont know if theyre using the same ones now at s alford, but mine were like a dark green colour, and werent actually all that bad for the first week or so, after that they got on my nerves, even though i got a spare pair, so that i could wash them in between.

thanks ladies i think i might take both and see what i feel better in. :) :)

I'm a nightie girl & did take one in, but also bought some PJ's a couple of sizes bigger (so they wouldn't cut into my scars)..that way I didn't have to flash my min off when my wounds were checked. However, I actually came around in recovery in the hospital gown & stayed in that until the day after my op anyway. xxx

Within 20 minutes of me coming round I was in my pj's! Ha, ha!! I'm a nightmare! My poor fella was beside himself as I insisted he help me get in them!

I'm a pj girl thru 'n' thru!!

Hope you're managing back at work. I want to go back but I'm a bit worried about managing meals!

Hiya JMo, I was climbing the walls with boredom so I was definitely ready to go back...things have been fine, just been a bit tired by the time I get home. Food has been ok, although tbh it has been a struggle the last couple of days to get much in...but the wind, oh my god.....I think something has died & is rotting at the moment....not nice, pmsl! xxx
