Pre Assessment today!

Hello everyone!

I have my pre assessment today - the reality of the seriousness of what I about to do is throwing me into panic.

I have read some of your stories and these have given me enormous assurances.

Any top tips pre op would be gratefully received.

I'm told I'll get my date on Wednesday GULPPPPPP!!!

Don't panic! Lol....ask lots of questions and chill! If u didn't need gastric intervention then you wouldn't be going for assessment, I came out of mine with the biggest smile ever as after it I so knew I was doing the right thing good luck and let us know how u get on x

Definitely agree with all of that. Ask every question that occurs to you, no matter how silly you may think it us

Thank you Janeybec - you're right of course - and this is what I have wanted for ages - its just the reality of the op looming. It'll all be worth it !!

I agree with everyone above. It's hard to take when someone lays all your cards out on the table and the the cold reality of your situation sets in. Im both excited and panicky about my up coming surgery but have no intention of backing out. Good luck hun x
