Hi all,
Im new to this forum and awaiting my girst appointment. Gp has referred ne for gastric banding.
Is there anyone on here that has been referred due to having a health condition aswell as high bmi?
Iv noticed its about 6,9,12 months from referrel to surgery for notmal cases, just wondered if its same sort of weight with health condition?

Hello and welcome
I have multiple health conditions and my BMI was 40 and it still took well over a year but partly because the tier 3 provider changed and there were a few months when nothing happened.
If you read everyone's stories you'll see we've all had different experiences so it's hard to give definite answers. Good luck
