pre op diet

can some tell me what the pre op diet will be i was told id have to do a liver diet but not sure what it will be can any one tell me im having gastric sleeve

Hi Dave, Ring your bariatric nurse to find out. All PCT's are different but seems to be usually 2 weeks pre op.

Darren - how could we forget!! When you have done a few more posts you can edit your signature and maybe put your name in there. We should remember the fella's though, as you are thinner on the ground!

Yes each area is different with the liver reducing diet. And the length of time can depend on what the surgeon feels when he prods your tummy. Some I know did it for a week, but I was told two as I held fat around my organs.

Sometimes you get options of which diet you can do, I had the choice of two but chose the 4 pints of s/s milk a day as it was simple.
