Pureed food suggestions

Help I need some suggestions for foods that I can puree, I tend to be savoury not sweet. I am suffering from nausea again and the bariatric nurse said this is common until I eat more substantial food so looks like its going to be around for a while. I am not over keen on shoving everything into the blender at once and wonder if its better to blend things separtely if you can understand that. I dont like all the tastes merged together....xx

I have 1/4 Ltr of Covent Garden soup - Tomato and Basil, Minestrone, Potatoe and Leek, Chicken, Winter Veg, with 1oz of chicken, pureed for lunch most days. The chicken gives it a thick soup consistency so its lovely.

Dinner

1 oz of chicken, pork loin, braised beef, pureed in gravy or 100mls of passata, with either 1 tbs mash or veg (mint sauce!!!)
or
cheesy mash and baked beans is just LUSH!

I didn't exactly do the puree stage, so I can only go from working in nursing homes many years ago, when we used to puree things. I used to love pureed chicken in gravy!

I agree that it would probably be best to puree the seperate components instead of everything together, and aim for strong flavours.

sounds good. Can I join you for dinner. luckily I like wet food.

Charlie I will go and google for you. I will find something yummy!

I used to do this for my kids when they were babys but chicken, veg and gravey.chesey mash with chicken is nice as well. butternut squash insted of mash is realy nice and sweet potatos are good with most things.

Thanks for all suggestions, I loved the convent garden soups but as I have been feeling sick after eating them my head thinks its their fault although I know its not but its hard to get passed something once you feel yuck..lol...xx

The best thing for me when I was craving savory was mash and stuffing in gravy! Mmmmmmmmmmm

problem for bypassers is that it needs to be more protein than carb.
Im doing my son steamed chicken with sweet potato, carrots and broccolie heads for tea. what veg i have left over im going to freeze in ice cube trays after pureeing and the chicken im going to cut into 1 oz cubes and and freeze than i can add that to soups or gravy and blend. I am also making some cauliflower in white sauce and freezing so i can add cheese to that.

sausage meat stuffing balls are great too as its like having sausage and mash! woop woop!!!

Hi HC drinking as much as I can but it does not make a difference, apparently it's common to feel nausea and some say its the worst bit about the surgery...xx
