Hello, I have just been to have my staples out and they bypass ones are ok but where I also had a hernia removed that one is open and overlapping with green discharge coming out of it. Its does not hurt a lot. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and how did it go

I would get it checked out try and keep it dry may be infected see your practice nurse x

Hi chrisa, I saw the practice nurse today as she removed the staples. Going back on Sunday to get the dressing changed and again on Tuesday. I have to wait and see how it goes.

One of my wounds was a bit icky with pus but it cleared up in a couple of days with antibiotics - definitely go get it checked again if it doesn't clear up!
