Hi there. I was the same as you and my team told me it was quite normal & could last up to 6 weeks or suddenly swing the other way so you're constipated. Mine lasted about 2 weeks I think. Horrible but it will go :)

Get yourself some benefibre and take a couple of teaspoons every day, it will soon sort you out.

Its more post bypass as your intestines have been re-routed and often dye is put through etc. Also some of the post op meds can affect your bowels.

Do hope you are feeling better Sharron... I have been thinking of you love... take special care and feel better soon... sending you a huge hug xxx

Phatmomma was lactose intolerant for a few weeks after her bypass. She used lacotose free milk and that helped. She is fine now

least its keeping you up and about so you dont get any blood cots, lol only joking, cant be nice im the exact oposite at the moment - hope your feeling better soon xxxx

I'm fine? You could have said normal Wendy lol...

Yes i was lactose intolerant, i had diorrhoea and was running the loo all day, some days i never made it. Bariatric nurse suggested leaving milk alone and it was fine, converted to lactose free milk next day and no problems. Try having a day with no milk (hidden or not) and see if that makes a difference, if the diorrhoea stops ring your provider and ask for advice... Mine was immediately post op i must add :) Good luck xx
