I should be banded, cant believe how quick last week went! I keep having dreams that my liver wont have shrunk, so ive upped my water intake to 6 pints a day!! I'll be floating to theatre! Lol, been told that the amount of water will help with liver! fingers crossed! xx

Good luck Fri. Have you been to the support group or thinking going as I went last month cant go this as cant drive due to elbow op. It would be good to actually see someone from near my area, I'm having it done at Walsall due to SS pct rules. It will take me about 70/80 mins to get there when city is 10/15 min drive it does begger belief.

Its at DRI think its 3rd weds of month will have to check diary when i went last. Its run by Kay Cresswell bariatric nurse and the other nurses. I found that there was a lot of people there and it seemed very informative and relaxed. There was time at the end to mingle and ask questions/get others stories etc.
I dont know anyone near me and didnt get chance to get to know anyone very well. Felt a little left out as everyone having band done there or city and i'm walsall. Also I dont know if i'll get told to have bypass or band. They are all banders as Derby dont do bypass yet.
Just ask if need any more info

Yep that ok. Will hopefully go in April got to check date. Dont know if your'll be upto it by then, not sure if you'll be driving by then or if you can drive nearly straight away as think you're keyhole. These are the questions I will be asking but think I will only get funded for open dont think pct will do key-hole.

10 hrs 10 mins

and i should be sat at hospital waiting for my op.......im bricking it now tho. Its just the coming round thts on my mind x and dont want to ie, because of my kids, i know its a daily operation, and the surgeons are super. just a silly thought in my mind xxxx

Vicky its perfectly normal to go through these emotions, but you will be fine, i was exactly the same when i had my band fitted in november, but good luck anyway. take care julie xx
