I am the same although today was first day without paracetamol. Just my stomach rumbling but no pain. Just some windeze and move about little but often. Hth x

It does ease Hun, I still get it now and then but it is far less a week on, hope u feel better soon xx

Hi Bexs, with the shoulder pain the Physio said to me to rub the side of your tummy. So if the pain is in your left shoulder then rub your tummy on the right side about 2-3 inches across from your belly button. She told me it is trapped wind under your diaphragm. It worked for me its worth a try. I had hideous shoulder pain but it did ease after a few days. Good Luck. xxx

Hi there I am 2 days post op from having a gastric band am in exactly the same boat pain in my left shoulder blade it is easing now but been passing lots of wind I'm managing to eat a tiny bit but am really struggling with bending and picking stuff up of the floor it's so painful I'm scared I am gonna rip something inside before it's healed is this normal?

I found stretching side to side and forward and up (gently!) really helped to displace the wind (I have a friend who's a doctor that explained it all to me, but I forgot *lol*) Also, windeze tablets definitely helped!
