I am booked to have a sleeve on the 21st of June On second week of yogurt and milk. Has any one else had surgery at this hospital?

Hi, im due to have the sleeve in Coventry on the 5th july... How are you finding the pre diet? Must start on the 21st june the liquid diet.. Best wishes for the 21 st and let me know how it goes xxxx

To be honest I was dreading it! But honestly it's not bad. Don't get me wrong I yearn for things but I'm not starving :) second week now. Lost a stone last week! 19 kg since February. I was booked fir today but it got canceled Do you live in cov? I'm in rugby. I'm so happy to get on the list :). Did it take you long ? Xx

Im in rugby too.. I had a band removed 2 years ago, and back on the list on the 7th january.. So quite good compare to others xx

A fellow rugbarian we will have to meet up and compare notes :). There were 5 of us at the pre op and two of them were having bands removed I guess it's the sam sort of procedure and recovery time? Xx

Yes definitely would be nice to have a fellow local sleever..just let me know when and where.. :) which side of rugby are you? Im on the dunchurch rd.
At my pre op, there were 6 of us, all for the sleeve on the 5 and 6th of july... Not sure what worries me the most, the liquid pre op diet or the op itself...
When i had my band fitted in 2005, i was only in hospital for one night. I had hardly not pain, just lots of wind from the gas.. Recovery from having the band removed was tough.. I was under for almost 5 hours in theater, and 18 staples later.. Just this time around it is easier healing.. Do you feel ready mentally and physically for saturday? Xx

Hi jan :) in hillmorton by Aldi. I can meet any day as I don't work. Please don't worry about the milk diet. I was terrified thought I'd be starving or cheat but it's been fine! I have been hungry but milky coffee is great to fill up :). My family are not to happy me having it so I have spent so long telling them I will be fine I think mentally I'm more than ready lol. I know about the gas - remember it well from my c sections. I found moving helped it pass through :). Look forward to meeting xx

I work monday to friday, but can meet anytime after 5pm for a glass of milk.. :) or weekend. Im home this afternoon, if you wanted to come around..
Hubby is good with me having the op, but he is not overweight so can not understand why i dont want take aways every other days, or a cake and biscuits with every coffee..lol
Xxx

I have my grandson coming today as it's farthers day they are not going till 7 :) so will have to be in the evening next week? But it will be a cup if tea not milk lol xx
