Hi Jenni
Dont worry to much about having a cold, colds are viruses and are not basterial so shouldnt cause too much of a problem , if on the other hand you become chesty and this affects your lung capacity or function and requires antibiotics (because it is bacterial) then this will be the decision of the anaethatist, but if they have any concerns about the integrity of your lungs they will not anaethatise you.
but a straight forward snuffly cold should be ok hon, so long as you dont have a high tempeature or bad chest is what im really saying lol (sorry its late )
the over all decision will be with the anathatist
