Wonderlust's Monthly Weight Diary -Week 55 11 Stone 6 lb gone! Stall over?

I have mine on Friday, what should I expect?

Blood test?
prodding and poking?
should I take my food diary?

Can't help you with this one Wonderlust as I didn't go for my appointment today (feel weak and a tad poorly...and I dont drive, no way can use public transport at the moment) but, I was told it was to have dressings removed.? Have done that myself today (Beth says it was Ok to do) but, will definitely be going to the 6 week post-op check-up.
I haven't done a food diary either??? I would take it with you anyway.

Thanks, I'm sure I will be fine...like yourself the other day, was really down last night and earlier today, being indoors is not the norm for me, so going a little stir crazy too.

Going to go for a short walk tomorrow...!

Mine was weigh- in, blood pressure & discussion with bariatric nurse. Took my food diary & we went through it. Nothing traumatic.

In my case I am hoping they are going to remove my dressings and then the numerous staples that are holding my body together.

My staples came out exactly 2 weeks after my op. Hardly have any scarring left yippeee. 8 weeks post op now.

Well just got home from my two week check up.

All staples (think around 20-25) and 1 suture removed.

everything seems fine.

Got to have another 2 weeks of injections...

but I have lost 7.6Kg

They are feeling very itchy at the moment!

I have a couple of more days on those pesky needles...so, my sympathies !!
I , also, sympathise with the itchy feeling around the wound sites....been driving me mad the past 24 hours, I was lucky enough to have steri-strips to seal my wounds but, as they have healed , the increase in the desire to scratch is huge !!!

The injections are going to be 100 what evers instead of 60 so only one a day!

The itching is really really bad at the moment, but I am fighting the urge.

Calomine lotion or E45 itch cream helps ease itching.

Six weeks post op today

Seems strange that it was that long ago, still feels like it was yesterday.

Not got my 6 weeks post-op check out until next weekfor some strange reason.

Been to the shed and got my step out ready to start some exercises.

All I need to do now is motivate myself to start.

The last 4 months has flown - but my op feels like it was years ago already!
Well done for getting the step out - I'm not a fan of exercise but am really enjoying the energy losing weight has given me already.
Got an induction at "gymphobics" after work tonight, so I'll remember your exercise plans for motivation to commit to it.

6 week post-op check up today

Well it was actually 7 weeks

Everything is fine!

Lost a total of 44lbs since the op.

A little disappointed that I only lost 10.2Kg since my 2 week check up.

Gutted that I didn't get below the unrealistic 200Kg so that I can be weighed at my Drs

Got 7.3Kg to go....

Now to get rid of that
