Hello Kee,

Glad to hear you feel so good....and good luck for your journey.

Swimming, I was advised 4-6 weeks but might be best to contact your provider to check first...:)

hey kee well done and welcome to the losers, not sure on the swimming ect its one question i will also need answering, obviously for me it cannot be until my complications are back under full control. but the sooner i can the more comfortable i will feel on i am dealing with the bypass. I suspect thats how your feeling as well

Hi kee - congratulations on the successful op! Just don't do too much!! Talk to your clinical nurse specialist about when you can start swimming again, you'll have to be so careful not to get your wounds infected.

thanks all i phoned today and was told that i could not start gym or swimming for at least 5/ weeks but i can have showers and get my cuts wet as of now but hve been told no baths as the water just sits in ur wound so i can wait for a few more weeks x x x x x x
