Hi Emma,

Welcome to Minis. You will find all of the support and help here that you need. I am hoping to have my op in July as well, so hopefully we will have lots of stories to share.

Keep us all posted on your news.

hi and thanks for the replies,i must admit to be a little scared of the op but im also so excited i wish it was now now now but i guess we all feel like that.ive read some great diaries on here of people progress and also the tv show on home & health is great....its on tonight at 9pm so unless your sqeamish do watch it cause its a great incite into what we will all be having done.i have researched alot about the gastric bypass and have to say i do feel like this is going to be the very strict discipline i need to lose the weight,i have such a lot to lose and i know im way past doing it through diet alone.this site is great for encouragement and also to hear others perspectives on different problems and successes.im so glad i swollowed my pride and returned, even if it was as a failure i wont be for much longer thankfully.im looking forward to sharing my experiences with you all and hearing all about yours.thanks again for the replies it has made my day

Hi Emma
I meant me being online more than I ever had not you LOL, made me smile that one.

And I don't want to hear you saying about being a failure Mrs because your not ok, we've all been there and "failed" but it doesn't make us failures it just means that the diet wasn't right for us thats all.

I'm good thanks hun xx

hi emma....

u should be hearing about a date for ur op soon, yes?

hi karen,in kent the pct has a rule you have to wait 5 months from seeing consultant to having your op...although i was very frustrated at first im nearing the end of the wait now and expect to have my op the end of july or being of august at the latest.i had my consultation on the 29th feb so end of july is 5 months and surgeon said expect to hear towards end of june for appointment in july.:party0023:
