Well my bypass is on Thursday 4 Feb and last weekend I came down with a cold. Spent the weekend knocking back lemsips and it seemed to go by Monday. Great I thought! HOWEVER it has come back, worse than before and I'm worried it may not go before my op.
Has anyone else suffered colds just before their op and could the hospital postpone the op if I'm not well enough?
BTW: weighed today - lost 2.5kg since last Saturday when I started the pre-op diet which is good. And I'm finally starting to lose the hunger pangs!
