Congratulations on your beautiful new grandaughter bigandbouncy. Summer is a beautiful name and i'm sure she fits it perfectly.

I alas am still awaiting the arrival of my first grandson Ethan! All i need is a d.o.b and a weight, i know everything else. Poor mum (dil) has been in slow labour since 7.30am yesterday, have suggested she go for a walk to encourage the little fella. Have warned her my son was a long birth, just wont tell her about the pain lol....

Thanks for all you best wishes,but when I spoke to my son they have decided to call her Grace!with Summer as her middle name.Think they thought it was ok for a little girl but not for when she is 50 years old!Sheesh kids eh just got used to it now shes Gracie.As long as she does not look like Gracie Fields!Little lamb is gorgeous but I am her Nan...

Grace is a beautiful name and surely suits her!

I am still waiting lol, but my daughters have as of today have a half sister (but i'm not allowed to call her that, she is their sister). Little Sophie Leigh weighed in at just over 10lbs and i know its a wicked thing to say but i did so wish my now ex best friend had a baby with a big head (tut tut tut).

I think they should have kept the first name as Summer.
In 50 years time we will not have any summers just rainy seasons and we will need all the Summers that we can get LOL
