well i have now discovered my body doesnt want to consume beef yet, tried some last night and struggled, there was a bit of steak left so thought i would have it for lunch today, so dry fried it with some onion then added a little gravy only to totally reject it despite chewing slowly and for ages.

So i will just avoid it fir a while and try again in a few weeks time

TS I have only just been able to eat beef over the last few weeks....struggle with lamb as well my two fav meats!....Seem to be ok with stewed steak in gravy though....xx

I have to stick to fillet steak sadly these days ;) as i find anything really chewy just doesn't sit well in my pouch, however i also find that i reach restriction very quickly eating red meat and therefore find i cant consume a large amount. I can eat a whole chicken breast or piece of fish now provided i dont eat large quantities of other accompanyments like veg or potatoes.

I have suffered all afternoon from it, struggled off to swimming as there were long periods between bouts of saliva, only managed 16 length but more then made up for it by doing 5k on the bike this morning.

I struggle with duck breast as well, even though it is extremely lean. Other then that not suffered with anything else although i have to admit i am extremely careful about fat and sugar content so dumping for those reasons have not come up.

CG i have made a slow cooker beef stew and managed that before but then the meat is so much tenderer that way.

coming to the conclusion i must have the constitution of an ox. seem to be able to eat anything and everything. Though the more solid the food and the more chewing it requires the less of it i manage.
just had a weight watchers sausage in cider gravy with root veg mash and managed 1/2 of it. who ever thought a weight watchers meal would be too much.!!!

hopelesscase that meal even sounds good lol

Well we decided to try the local Thai place last night, we had been promising outselves it for over a year. The food was fabulous, however after just a couple of mouthfuls of Thai Dim Sum i started getting pains in the stomach, so i desisted and bought mine home for today. Obviously i strained the pouch yesterday with the beef incident so i will take it easy today and allow it to heal
