Oh crusty breads the best isn't it, i tried that once, the loaf was still warm from the oven and begging for me to bite into it, infact i could hear it calling my name, spent 10 minutes in the loo woofing it up, learnt my lesson, bread swells fast in your stomach, the fresher it is the worse it is.

i can't eat pasta or noodles make me puke everytime!!!!!

i cant eat any kind of bread, pasta or rice, sausages and bacon gets real stuck and hurts alot. oh and im sad to say i cant eat home made yorkshire pudding or roast potatoes no more but i can manage 1 frozen aunty bessies yorkie pud.

I was thinking about what foods I might not be able to eat if/when I get the op as I really love food of all kinds. I decided that its a small price to pay to be slimmer and healthier. If I did not have the operation and had to follow a restrictive diet there would be things on that that I could not eat but would be tempted to so I will be thinking its a blessing in disguise. Lets hope I dont live to regret those words lol...Linda x

Must admit I've not found anything I can't eat (aside from high fat/sugar things obviously!). Am fine with bread, have half an onion bagel for breakfast most mornings.

Im like shell dont have any problems with food, but I didnt chew a piece of chicken enough a few nights ago and spent next two hours regretting it! Did it while I was cleaning kids plates away and fell back into old habits, boy was that a wake up call

Hi,

Like the previous 2 lovely ladies, I can eat what I want really (low fat and sugar!). You just got to really chew!! I did forget once when eating a veggie sausage with beans, and yes it does hurt! My little pouch was contracting...:eek:but I am so careful to chew everything now. It is easy to forget though at first. I am fine with bread/pasta/rice which I am so pleased with as I love em! I can even tolerate hot curries:D
