Hmmmm waiting for the nurse from my hospital to call me to discuss this bloody pain in my stomach...its to the right of the band wound at the top...so no where near any of the work done....Its been there 2 days now....still hurts to breathe deep, to cough, to laugh, to stand up, and to sleep on....its weird as its like the pain I have with the port down on the left, but up high and more sharp, like a stitch or cramp.....And to touch it -omg so tender...
I thought it was trapped wind...but ive walked, done mint tea, hot water bottles, windsetlers - and loads of wind has come out....
Then I thought it was cos I was constipated, but have since been a few times....
So I've made the call, and its best to talk it over with the nurse...otherwise my mind will go loopy trying to figure it out...
One friend said its possibly the Oxygen they put in you during keyhole surgery thats perhaps stuck...and it will come out in time....Thats a decent idea...and wouldnt mind if I just knew it was something simple like that....
Im still on the ideas of it being a slipped band....or gallstone....or bruised stomach....
I do recall the surgeon and I talking after the operation, I asked if he had put any fill in the band already, and he said 'No, just air, which will disperse soon'.....So perhaps that air is lodged in me....
No idea....hopefully a chat with the nurse will put my mind at rest.
Plus I've put in for a emergency appointment at my GPs surgery, to get a GP to push the area, as I dont even think its my stomach....just to make sure...as I wanted to sneekily get a new prescription anyhow, and it was easier doing both at once...
