Aww tracey...sorry to hear it didn`t go too well, or get the outcome you had hoped for (((hug)))

My GP was the same just wouldn`t budge...so thats why i have opted to go private. Have you a new plan of action or are you going to wait another 5 months then try again?

Hi Claire, thanks for your reply, we are reviewing our mortgage on Wednesday with a financial adviser, so will just drop in the question what difference would £11,000 make to our repayments although hubby isn't that keen on increasing the mortgage, but I can only ask, can't it? I think about £10,000 - £11,000 seems to be the average price for a bypass when going private unless anyone knows different!
