Brett's not very well

I popped in to see him beofre my pre~op today, He didn't look at all well, running a temp, suspected infection. Said they were coming to take him back down see what ails him.
As part off my pre~op I had to have blood taken from an artery in the wrist and this was performed by an SHO I had to wait for. When he arrived, all in his scrubs and breathless he said he'd had to perform an emergency op. So I said "On Brett?"he prevaricated, couldn't possible say etc but I could tell it was, and although he didn't give any details I was lead to believe all was well in Brett world again.
