I can't sleep...my 'hot date' with the surgeon is tomorrow. I've got everything in place, funding and stuff, I just hope he approves too :cross: It's been such a long journey and to come this far and he might say no doesn't bear thinking about.

hi djp just wanted to say dont panic,if you have been through all of the bits and pieces with the endocrinologist etc.he wont say no he is just going through the process of meeting you thay would have said no before now if thay were going to.good luck anyway.

Well, all done folks....the appointment was absolutely fine. The surgeon was lovely, despite having quite a huge lump of cake with thick icing on his desk lol !!!!! Was this done on purpose me thinks, or is it just my sick mind?? Anyway, he said I should be banded within 8-10 weeks. EEEEEEK how scarey is that - but exciting all at the same time.
