ENDOSCOPY,SEDATION OR SPRAY

I've had several endoscopies to insert stents, remove stents, stretch, take biopsies - under sedation and with spray. Last one I had spray and was glad to get it done over with and out asap, however felt like a right animal burping and gagging! Had to laugh when I sat up bc I let out the most unladylike burp of all time - quite embarassing!

Thanks for the replies, I went for spray and it was terrible, I've had about 15 surgeries and this has got to be the worst thing ever. It was over in about 5 mins though and I could drive myself home, but if I ever have another im going for sedation, wuss or wot

All done now though Lindy. I was scared more about the endoscopy than my op! Another milestone achieved. I was pleased I took sedation. X
