extreme pain 7 months out

sounds like u could have an ulcer shoulder pain is linked with irritation of the diaphragm and if it doesnt go ur husband is right u need to go to a and e , please please please take this advice im 20 months out of my bypass and had a perforated ulcer nearly 4 weeks ago i had severe pain and left shoulder pain and i ended up very ill , hope u r ok and keep us posted xx

Hi Sue, you seem to have it sorted now thankfully.
If it occurs again, do not rule out the advice from others regarding the gall bladder. It is just your symptoms were so similar to my wife, Bev (Mamma Chef), and she is still in hospital at the moment with the problem, unfortunately quite poorly.
Also, the comment re the prune juice is a good one.
I had a similar problem with constipation and started having a tin a day of Asda's tinned Prunes in Apple Juice (about 40p). About three days use and I was fine again!!
