hahahaha kelly......no you should go, my husband came this time and she said he was full of wind and loads of food that he hand't chewed, thats minging like but they are really good. My friend had a bad stomach for ages and when she went the lady said she was full of air. she said she feels much better now. you could be full of old food just sitting there. Hmmmm ive just put myself off my tea. x

haaaa babybell xx

glad you liked it. you're braver than me though. i'd be far too embarrassed.

I used to want one myself pre-op, but I was soooooooo full of food that my gut was exhausted. Now, after my bypass Im never truly truly full of food, so there really is no point in me having one. Ah well eh.
Steph xx

My friend has it done on a regular basis as she has such bad skin flare ups, but now her skin is fantastic. Her life is totally better for doing this..
I have never had it done, but never say never.....

Ive had 2 and think they are fab! Feel really cleansed after. I went with my boss both times and she had bad IBS and for weeks after she feels fab! x

Oh my word.........we used to perform these as nurses.........grosssssss:eek::eek::eek:

I could never see that as anything more than a medical procedure so I think I'll pass!

I've always wanted to try this. Since I had my gallbladder removed I've had problems with my digestion - its very very sluggish and even my doc says my peristaltic movement isn't what it should be (when I eat beetroot the colour shows in my Poo after about 3 days) - I suffer with constipation quite a lot (even though I eat loads of veg) and really would like a 'clean out'. Where do you go to get them and how much do they costs?

I've had two colonics & wish I could afford to have more!! They are fantastic. I'm lucky to go for a # 2 once or twice a week. So I get very 'bunged' up & I've tried prune juice, laxatives etc. & only things that gets me 'moving' is epsom salts.

So after a colonic I feel fantastic & like babybell, I recommend them to everyone.

bet she was a tight ass!! :D i'll get me coat :bolt:

but seriously, not my idea of fun :sign0137:

my gp advised me to get one as she said food shouldnt be stuck as long as it does get stuck !!!!

I go to the body detox clinic in newcastle and its 60 pounds but you get a coffee thing to, it cleans your liver. i would go all the time if i could afford it......if you have been a big eater and lets be honest , i havent always chewed my food right up . so i think its a good idea for people before they have bands etc done....i nice clean out...hahahaha

Hi Babybell - how long does the good feeling last?

I've not got the courage to go for one - I don't have to really as I take metformin and that has a very similar effect on my bowels!!
