I totally agree. I would imagine the repair would be straight forward compared to doing a sleeve to bypass conversion. The surgeon wasn't keen on doing the repair last time. I need to ask him as to why. Xx

Finally had my consultant appointment and he is referring me to reflux specialist at the Heartlands hospital in Birmingham. He has also gave me some different meds to try in the meantime. He said that my calcium levels are far too low and this is probably reflux related. I did ask him about my hernia and he said he wanted to see what the reflux specialist thought before making any decisions. He did say that he thinks the reflux will go by itself.

He was very pleased with my weight loss and he said he thinks that my target of 9 stone is far too low. He thinks it should be in the 11 stone region as this would be far more realistic.

Overall I'm quite pleased with how it all went.

First of all can i jus say WOW you look absolutley amazing. Your so slim now you should b so proud. It makes me feel so excited that i may achieve that as well although i cant imagine myself bein that slim. You look really happy an healthy in your pic. Its good that consultant is referring you but also means more waiting for you. I hope the reflux does settle down foe you an they jus repair ur hernia. Would be a shame to convert to bypass as you little sleeve has worked so well along with all your hard work. If i look half as good as you post op i will be over the moon. Im hoping to get a date this week should b for mid may time i think. Will post on my diary when i know. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much Kirsty. I can honestly say it's been the best thing I've ever done. I'm in control of my life and more importantly I've got my health back. It's so good to be able to buy my favourite clothes in a normal size from the high street shops.

It's your turn now and I can't wait to read about your journey and see your transformation. I know you will do brilliantly, you're a beautiful girl and you're going to feel and look absolutely amazing. Sending all the luck and hugs in the world xx

Hey lisa i finally have a date. Start LSD 18th may have repeat pre op 31st may as previous text have expired and surgery 8th june so 5 an half weeks away. I cant believe its finally my turn. How are you now any update on the reflux and hernia. Hope the weight loss is still going great.
