how was the pt? Your weight loss is lookin good! Did the chicken thing today! We went out for affy and hubby was convinced it wouldn't be cooked when we got back but it was and it was yummy! It was a very big chicken so did it on a higher setting and also put it in breast side down! Trying your gammon next!!

The PT was good :) got me really thinking about drinking more and snacking etc. Good weight loss too lol.

Glad you enjoyed the chicken, the gammon is good. The best one I had was a sainsburys healthy eating gammon joint, not a bit of fat on it so no problems with eating it. Mmm might do that again this weekend. The good thing about the chicken done that way is cos the meat falls off the bones you don't waste any, and can use the leftovers in a pie, risotto, pasta etc :)

My food has been pants with my jet lag & all but here it goes:

Thursday -
About 4 bites of chinese take away rice & beef then felt ill
Protein bar (atkins, was pretty tasty)
2 vanilla creme cookies (no, no bad Nic!!)
About 5 fork fulls of whole wheat pasta w/balsamic dressing (I know, weird right???)

I must explain that I slept all day yesterday until 5pm (my body is still on USA time) & woke up famished so I choked down some leftovers from the fridge, mistake #1. Then I accidently bought regular vanilla creme cookies instead of the sugar-free that was right next to them, of course I ate 2 to make sure, mistake #2. And then at 6:30am since I was still awake my stomach was churning for some food so I ate some of hubby's leftovers to stop the rumble, mistake #3! Oh well!!!

Friday
Breakfast - milky coffee, protein bar
Lunch - big salad w/ some nuts & cheese on the side
Dinner - 1/2 baked sweet potatoe & salad

I'm not doing to good at all, I never fancy anything, cuz I'm frightened of it hurting. Im living off mash with gravy & wotsits (only 1 bag a day)......help please.

Allie firstly you should be on soft foods now so scrambled egg, cream cheese, deli counter meat with no fat on, any meat in a minced form ie bolognase, chilli ect

remove all skin from potatoes and meat for now.

Di, the surgeon at WM advises 4 weeks liquids and 4 weeks puree before moving to soft foods. Its important that everyone follows their OWN SURGEONS advice.

Not trying to have a go, just stating that not everyone should be on soft food by Allies stage, She is only 4 weeks post op.
