gastric bypass in London????

Goodluck tendersage, let us know how you get on. I wonder if the original poster is still around to see how they got on.

Hey guys,

I had a gastric bypass on the 25th November 2008 by Mr Mannur - am happy to discuss anythign you wanna know about him and the surgery he done on me.

Rick x

Please post your impressions of him what hes like and anything you think is important LOL although by the time you see this i will be finding out first hand

Hi Rickie Blimey O'reilly that is some weightloss you've got there, WELL DONE so far! How was your op, how were you afterwards and how are you finding it now?

Mr Mannur is a lovely chap and, although Homerton are inundated with referrals at the moment, if he feels you require WLS then he will support you to have it.

In my experience you may have to chase Homerton up for appointments and, especially, with them writing to the PCT for funding.

The op went well and I was in no pain at all to be honest - the first few weeks went ok but it is now I am finding it tough with almost daily vomiting spells as my new pouchy rejects food.

Check out my blog.

Rick.

Thanks for that Rickie, Ill try look for your blog, Ive been under Mannur for over a year now, I think they have the funding for me already, I'm just waiting for other health things to be sorted.

Thanks Rick Just added that to faves. Ive got a mixed connective tissue disease amongst other things, so a bit complicated here.

Erm I don't think so, illnesses came first here, then obesity. Unless you count the gall stones and severe gastro eosophogul disease (GOD)obesity related, but Ive had the GOD since childhood and have oly been obese in the past 7 yrs. (i'm 41). Soz it took so long to reply, I was reading your blog ad also trying to fill in some forms, I kept refreshing this page and saw no reply until I realised just now we had moved up to page 3 Doh. < blonde moment

Being sick all the time must be draining :( I'm dreading constipation! Oh I just remembered, I was initially referred for bariatric surgery primarily because of the GOD, that was 7 stones ago :| more to try relieve that condition than my actual weight problem at the time.

Hey Rick we all speshul innit ;)

Unable to work, hubby does though. I don't think I yet qualify for PM status lol hangon i'll check
