I think you can have all milk ask your team.

What are the quantities on your milk diet Sue? Most milk diets I have seen have said 4 pints of milk and 1 yoghurt + SF Jelly so really interested to know what yours is!

Blimey, 8 yoghurts ?! I love' em but not sure I could eat that many every day !

Hi lovey, how long are you on the milk diet for?
Is your op in May? If so that is a very long time to be on the diet.
I would check with your team love. I was constantly ringing my specialist nurse cos i was so ill on the milk diet.
If you are on your liver shrinking diet leading up to surgery please be careful and try to stick to it religiously its really important love. xxxx

I always say to check out with your team to be absolutely certain, good luck and keep us posted... with your every step! xxx

I intend to turn the milk into yoghurt LOL

Hmm Ive not known one with 8 yogurts a day  I would speak to your team and ask if it would be ok to reduce them and have more milk maybe? Good Luck XX

have you tried freezing the yogurt and having a frozen yogurt treat? just make sure you periodically take the yogurt out to stir it will it is freezing, my give you something to chew on xx

thanks everyone for ur help im allowed 8 yoghrts a day and 1pint of milk ive been given 5 diffrent diets to do but i have to loose a stone by april 4th for my pre op so i thought the milk diet wud help thats what the sectary told me, i may start the slimfast and have a meal at night maybe 3 weeks before the op go back to milk diet what do u think xxx

I always think each regional team gives differing advice... so as long as you are following your guidance, is the main thing...

Wanting to wish you all the very best.

We'll be waiting for you on the losers bench and wishing you all the best, at your side.

Love and hugs xxx

hey sue im the same as u and the i asked the dietician at heartlands if i cud have a yogurt 4 brekki and a yogurt 4 tea and i hav a ham sandwich on ww bread wiv no butter, and she said its fine aslong as i stay under 800cal xx

I do wonder what medical qualifications the secretary has got to give out this advice? Please talk to your nutritionalist not the secretary about diets etc. This does so worry me as it is not your pre op liver shinking diet.
