I blame the fact that my bum hangs several inches lower than its supposed to these days, so there is no cushioning around the cocyx that even skinny people have.
ROFL Liz are you saying it would take more than a pound of butter and a carton of eggs to full your boobs out...................tesco bags thats too much lol

I get a numb bum and my hips ache if I sit for too long now. I am in the same office chair that I was before surgery and now it is uncomforable to sit, so I have to get up and walk round every so often, which all helps with the steps on the old pedometer.
Bra's, saggy boobs, that's a laugh. I was a 42 e before surgery, now almost 3 stone 7 pounds lighter and I am still in a 42 e . I bought an underwire bra on Saturday, same size as I always wear, and I think I could have fit my old man in, one leg in each cup. I just dont get it, I have the same size bra on now and it fits me, I buy a new sexier underwire bra, same size and it looks like a 6 year old trying to wear her mum's bra:wave_cry:.
Liz, this thread is so funny. HC & I were just talking about our hip/butt padding going and making us go numb! I forgot how boney my tailbone could be, I now remember complaining as a child when I had to sit in wooden chairs. I had a fall on the playground when I was about 8 and broke my coccyx, for a long time I suffered with it and then like magic it went away (I finally got fat enough to form a barrier).
Boo!! I say, I will have the extra fat sucked out of my thighs and put it on my tailbone, it may look strange but it won't be numb or hurt!!
“I had gastric bypass surgery almost a year ago and have lost 95 pounds. I am thrilled with the results but I have a new problem. It is painful to sit for more than a few hours. My tailbone hurts and I need to change positions very often. Does anyone else have this problem?”
Tailbone (coccyx) pain following massive weight loss is not that uncommon. In fact, I cover this in my book. You have lost padding in the area of the tailbone and it is now exposed in a way that it hasn’t been for decades. For most people, the body readjusts and the pain goes away after a number of months. In the meantime try using an inflatable ring to sit on. They are available in most drug stores. It is not a good idea to take aspirin or ibuprofen as these will irritate your reduced stomach. If necessary, talk to your doctor about taking Tylenol.
Not uncommon. For the first year or two my butt rubbed on all chair seats. My upper arms rubbed on chair arms. Plus, when I slept on my side my ankle bones and knees rubbed together so I had to use a towel inbetween my legs (like I used when I was big since my thighs used to rub together). Thankfully, I got used to it all and rarely notice it now.
I am finding bones in weird places, inner top thigh and collar bone now sp easily located LOL just have to put my hand there and i feel them as all the padding is gone, also noticed a thick scare has almost vanished on my elbow as a result of the new skinnier me. My butt is another matter its saggy and needs to reduce some more!! lol it better its 2 sizes larger than my top
